There was no crowd in front of the kitchen. This told him that Tony's kitchen was not producing any food. But he wasn't necessarily here for food. He'd decided to come over to see how the technical aspects of the chef's kitchen were working. But, not wanting to barge in on Tony's territory, he leaned into the window to speak to the man, putting prints on the silver tray below the sneeze guard.

He hadn't actually MET Tony. He'd corresponded with him but he had no idea what the man looked like. He realized this when he leaned into the window and saw more than one man.

"Uh...Tony? Hey Tony!" he decided to yell. And out of all the people on the enterprise, Tony's name came the easiest to remember. He knew 3 Tony's, 2 Anthonys and 1 Antonia back home on earth. Names like Tony, short ones that ended in long e sounds, came easy to him.

Donnie looked to see who responded, nervous at having yelled so loudly and suddenly drawing attention.

Tony didn't even turn around, "What! If it's about the Naska root you know damn well why I sent it back. Naskas need to be pink, not green you numbskull. I'm might be a human, and while that may be synonymous with dumbass in your book...I am not a dumbass."

He turned around and threw the cigarette but into the odor absorbing trash bins. Only realizing that it wasn't the punk vegetable seller too late.

Tony just glanced at his two crewmates and shrugged.

Tony turned to Emily and threw a look of confusion. How did he know her again? She seemed so familiar. Oh, right.

"Kitten, right?" Donnie said, talking about the only thing that really jumped out in his head to who she was rather than her name. "The...um--"

Luckily Tony cut him off before he could fumble his way through the rest of his sentence, a nonsensical thought on something or another.

He turned around from waving a hand in conversation at Emily to the man who had spoken. He took no note to the brashness. It didn't really seem to matter, the misunderstanding.

"Hey, I'm Donnie. I-I worked on your um..." He leaned closer pointing up. "Vents. I just-I just wanted to make sure they were working okay. Still. I can do some work if you need." A beat. "Anything."

He was bored out of his mind, really. Anything that needed fixing was fair gain, really.
