Sky didn't like mornings. In fact she never greeted anyone with a 'good morning' on the principle that mornings were never ever even remotely close to good. However the ship was pulling into Space dock today for Shore Leave, and so everyone was up and about doing final organising and fussing. Everyone who hadn't been rostered on for the graveyard

He smiled back at her, laughing a little, "Da. Bit better now." He tapped his PADD, reviewing things that he would need to do, before his leave was issued. Absentmindedly, he groped for his bagel, and all but jammed it down his throat. Swallowing, he nodded in Sky's direction, "So, vhat are you doing for shore leave?"

Sky munched on her toast and sighed, "I suspect my department will be drilled within an inch of our lives." she confided, "We didn't exactly excell during the whole Spore situation, although that can mostly be attributed to me." Poor Temaida, the young xenobiologist had had no hope when her superior was spored and trying to still work out a cure.

"Is not all your fault." Chekov consoled. Secretly though, he couldn't really provide all that much comfort due to the fact that he was passed out with the spores, instead of sexually active like the rest of the crew. It was just his luck that the one time he could actually get laid, he was unconscious. Changing the subject, he grinned. "Vhere do you vant to wisit on ze planet?"

She patted his hand gently, "You're sweet, but sadly I think a great deal of the ships problems can be attributed to my sporing experience. Just gotta make up for it I guess." she chewed musingly on her toast for a bit and then smiled as he asked her the next question, "I don't really know much about where we are going, just that there is sun. I miss the sun." and her smile turned a little wistful.
