sickbay - day 20 - [private/finished]
Commander Spock walked into sickbay, well more like limped slightly into sickbay, the Vulcan wasn’t putting his full weight on his left side when walking so it threw off the balance that was normally much more graceful. His eyes darted from one end of Sickbay to the other making sure that Doctor McCoy was not present in this part of the ship. Spock walked further into the infirmary looking for Nurse Chapel knowing she would be here. Her presence in Sickbay being the reason he was here, he would have gone to Doctor McCoy to treat his injury but he did not want to see the doctor at this given moment in time nor did he want the doctor to know he was injured. Spock himself had kept his injury to himself with the illogical thought that it would get better on its own but he was only making it worse by denying himself medical help.
He looked for the Nurse but did not move from his fixed point inside the bay area. Now he was looking for the head nurse as he most definitely required her assistance. Spock would have gone on ignoring this wound had he not started having trouble breathing and more difficultly moving. This problem was starting to affect his performance when on duty and that was a totally unacceptable and illogical. His dark eyes finally fell on the blonde woman and he made his way towered her. His limp this time was a lot less pronounced then when he had first walked into Sickbay.
