Gaila was feeling a bit better after spending the night in sickbay. She had awoke with her nausea and dizziness all but gone, and knowing her shift didn't start for a couple of hours, she headed down to one of the rec rooms. She headed over to a group of comfy-looking chairs and plopped down into one. She wondered if in her recently recovered state she could sufficiently charm Scotty whilst working once her shift started.

Going over a plan of action in her head, she almost didn't notice the officer sitting in the chair next to her. She sat up a little, tried to peer over the girl's shoulder at her PADD.

"Good morning."

Sky looked up, blinking with surprise to see someone sitting next to her, especially a lovely Orion woman with red hair in Engineering Reds. "Mornin'" she returned, smiling pleasantly, tilting her head to the side, "Just catchin' up on some reading. I'm Schuyler by the way, Lt. Cavendish officially."

She grinned. "My name is Gaila. I'm altogether new here, so forgive me for the forwardness. Been trying to make friends."

She sat back down in her chair. "Maybe you could help me out with something..." She fixed her eyes on the floor. "How does one go about winning the heart of a man without the use of pheromones?"

"I think everyone is pretty new." Sky reassured her, twisting her body around in the chair so as to face the other woman, "And I haven't made any friends yet either, so I'm glad to have met you."

At the other's question Sky's eyebrow lifted slightly and she tilted her head to the side, "That's an interesting question. Is one of the guys on board immune to your Orion pheremones?" She was intrigued by this, it was rare that someone was immune to something as potent as the pheremones of an Orion woman.
