The funeral was at school yesterday, in the gym. Packed to the max. Very sad. They put together this great slideshow of Ja'Lisa, lots of her smiling and running. :) I saw a bunch of kids from elementary school I hadn't seen in years. Everybody was crying. Jason (one of the boys who was in the crash; he lost an eye) actually came to the funeral -

i'm so sorry ):
funerals are such emotional wrecking balls.
i had a friend die a few years ago after being in a skateboarding accident. the boy who was skateboarding with him came up & spoke and if everyone wasnt crying before they were then.
i've definitely noticed-in a weird way, though, that funerals bring people a lot closer, especially the ones that have drifted apart.
i hope you feel at least a little bit better soon <3
