The band concert and looking forward to my goodbyes.

The spring band concert was today. We played our awesome Disney montage with the slideshow; it was fucking sweet. Then we had to say goodbye to the seniors. Miss B started crying when she gave them their roses and trophies. When we played them out with the last song, I kind of had a hard time playing...and then I started crying when I hugged a few

No, we don't play at graduation, thank God. That's the orchestra.

I cried so hard on the last day of my senior year. I don't know. I guess people take the grand experience of high school for granted until they realize it's over. At least, I did. :/

But just think about how CRAZY college will be in another year!

I'm not looking forward to the tears next year. :( But I am ready for college - I want out, I want to have a new life.

Yeah, same here. It's sad. :( But we have a tradition in band, at least: The alumni regularly come back to visit, especially during band camp.

The entire awesomeness factor of the band managhes to drop by fifty percent when the seniors leave. XD
