You would think that after finding out that Lindsey'd become a membwer of the undead club,that I would be smart enough to be as faraway rom him as humanly possible,but oh no not me. No I stupidly decided to stick around his apartmebt even after he gave me an out. It's been about three hours since then, and I'm about seven or maybe it's eleven

I'm sure that Lilah is wondering just what in the hell she is doing right now. I can almost sense the confusion. Of course, the fact that she's going through my liquor cabinet at an alarming rate should give that away as well. I offered her one drink, and now she's had at least seven. I stopped counting after that.

"Almost makes me think that you're worried about something," I said, looking down at her glass. "Even you don't usually drink quite this much." Yes, I do know how much she drinks. This is a little excessive, even for her."

The fact that he knows how much I usuallly drink,doesn't bother me as much as it probably should. Although I'm sure that's just the booze talking. "I'm fine." I told him,even though it sounds too much like a lie even to my ears.

"Yeah, you sound fine," I said, hearing the slight wavering in her voice that most people probably couldn't hear unless they were listening for it. That may have more to do with being a lawyer than being a vampire, though.
