Not that things hadn't already been difficult. He'd explained to Tavros how buckets had nothing to do with human reproduction, but some residual nervousness probably still remained. The mildly intoxicating and rather fruity drink he bought him would help, Sah'ot hoped.
"She'sss checking you out, Tav." He said with a grin to his young charge.

And now someone was watching him. It took Tavros a few moments to figure out what exactly Sah'ot meant by 'checking you out.' Uncertainty, embarrassment, and terror were mixed on his face as he twisted his head to find the mystery 'she'. He made the mistake of looking her straight in the eye for just a fraction of a second before turning away as though her gaze had burned.
"Umm," his face coloured slightly as he examined Sah'ot's face, trying to figure out if he was joking. "That's, uh, what?"

"Do you," he hesitated, "know her? Because maybe she's smiling at you, on account of you being friends, and there aren't actually any flushed intentions." That struck him as much more likely than her having a flushed interest in him.
