Mentioned it last post, but things have been pretty busy what with work being busy and conventions right around the corner. But things are going alright! It's stressful, but fulfilling at the same time!

So Fanime is less than three weeks away. This may not be my final costume list, but most are pretty firm:

Yes! Fanime and hotel stuff! I know it's totally last-minute, but if you have any friends that need space in a room, we very much have space in ours. A few things happened and now it's only you, me, Nur, and Nik in our room, so… yeah.

Aw man. Nah, no one around here is interested in a hotel room, they're just going to walk. I don't care if it's close by, I like staying in the con all weekend, and hanging out with people I only see once or twice a year.

More room for our swag, at least.

Aww. Sorry I wasn't able to come that day. Work eats my time and it was my "lucky" weekend to work.

I work with many individuals with dementia and its hard. I lost one of my great uncles a few years back who had it (CoD was pneumonia) and it was hard to see the decline. He remembered my brother but I was just a stranger to him.

ALSO~ I may have heard through the grapevine that you may be planning a trip to the tropics this October~ Let me know and we can chillax.

It's allll good! But we should get together and hang out! You should come to a local convention some time! There's gonna be one in August at the Santa Clara Convention Center. You should commmmmme~! =D

Yeah, it's really sad. I wish there was someway to trigger their memories, but… what can ya do?

Yes yes yes I am! We'll only be there that Wednesday-Sunday probably, but yes, let's very much hang out there!

I'm excited to hopefully see you at Fanime! I know you're often busy at cons (as am I, so I totally understand), but if we can hang out a little that would be amazing! If not, no big deal, we will see each other again and talk forever like we always do. :D ♥

That's sad about your grandma. :( I feel lucky that my grandmother is 90 now and her mind is still pretty darn clear considering. It must be heartbreaking to not be recognized by her. But, it's nice that you got to spend time with your family anyway, and take a little trip.

Wow, that's pretty awesome that your grandma's mind is so clear! It wasn't as bad as I feared because we had all sort of known that it might be that way, but still… sad.

Agree so hard~! I love spending time with you! I hope we can end up in a line together like at AX a few years ago, haha, that was great! I'll have my cell phone with me, send me a text when you're not doing anything and I'll do the same! Will you be at Swap Meet either night? If so, I'll be selling there both nights, plus I have my panel and I'll be at the Pokémon cosplay gathering! As for the rest of my schedule, I don't know yet.

Yeah, my grandma gets a little confused at times, and her health isn't as good as it used to be, but, I mean, she's 90, what do you expect? It still must be sad to see your grandmother not remembering you. Alzheimer's/demetia are not an easy thing to see.
