I hadn't heard of Ingres, but it looks pretty cool. I played a very similar game tat was more post-apocalyptic, this was over 5 years ago. I stopped playing because there wasn't anything going on in this area, too low a population density.

Yeah, this game really wouldn't work if there weren't enough portals in your area. Or no one else playing.
