I drink both coffee and tea.

As an American, I think I've always drunk Iced Tea. I can't remember a time when I didn't drink tea. I probably started drinking hot tea a few years later. I didn't start drinking coffee until I was probably 16-ish?

No one in my family adds anything to tea except maybe a lemon with iced tea. We don't add anything to hot tea. Don't know if that's just something with my family, or with people in the northern US, but I've never seen anyone add anything to tea- not milk (shudders) or sugar. In the southern US they drink Sweet Tea with tons of sugar. I do drink coffee with a little cream a little Splenda.

I like just about any tea. Early Grey, Lady Grey, Orange Pekoe, Black. I don't like Green, however.

I think it might be a bit odd to actually like milk in tea, but I always had milky coffee (lattes were my fans) so that carried over into my tea drinking as well :)

I only really like cold green tea - Lipton do a green tea and mango that I LOVE! But it isn't really a bit thing here like it is in the US.

It's funny, but since I have started drinking English Breakfast I can't drink Earl Grey any more. It was the tea that got me drinking tea though. I usually drink green or herbal tea when I'm feeling under the weather. Or feeling I should be slightly more healthy and go the no caffeine option.

I don't think it's all that odd to add milk to tea. It's always offered by wait staff or on a menu. I don't mind milk in a latte, but I wouldn't have it in tea. There's odd for you.

I think it would probably be Earl Grey with a little milk, straight up. Although, Early Grey can be swapped out with Earl's Garden which is just a frutier version of Earl Grey.
My church used to serve tea and coffee after services so I drank tea until my parents let me drink coffee.
I'm kind of both. I drank tea until I discovered coffee. I used to be a giant coffee person with the occasional lemon or mint tea. Last year I'd have about five or six cups a day, especially towards the end of the term. However, over christmas I discovered David's Tea and loose leaf tea and now have about 25 different kinds. I've had to stop myself from buying any more until I finish some of the one's I have. I still drink coffee, but way less than I used to. I drink a lot of tea now. So I'd say I'm both learning a teensy bit towards tea.

Earl Grey and Lady Grey were my first teas. Took me quite a while to get to English Breakfast, now I really don't venture far from it. Which is where this blogging thing is going to be good - make me try more teas!

I use to not be able to drink coffee after lunch as it would end up keeping me awake at night. I really love that I can have a cup of tea before bed - especially in winter.

Definitely. I have trouble sleeping when I have coffee late at night, except if it's relatively light on the actual coffee, so the super complicated mixed coffees that Starbucks/Second Cup have don't have the same effect on me as normal coffee. Right be for bed I usually end up watching an episode of TV and trying a different tea while I watch each night.

I drink both, but only in company. This means I can go months and years without ever feeling the need for neither coffee nor tea. ;)

I used to only drink tea, because coffee was too bitter tasting. I take tea with nothing or with a bit of milk or lemon. Coffee has to have milk in it - I'm still not grown up enough for a black coffee. :D I think my first tea experience was at grandparents'. When they would have their evening cup of coffee, I would get some tea (with lots! of sugar in it!). My mother loves tea as well, so I may have tried it with her first, but not as a recurring evening ritual like with my grandparents.

I like all sorts of tea. I had a long period where roiboss was the thing!

I was very sad when I had made myself give up coffee, so was surprised that I never really had the desire to go back to it. I do sometimes miss the wake up jolt it would give me in the mornings.

I have a roiboss tea to try, so it is going to be one of the first ones I blog about. Haven't had it before, so I'm a little bit nervous. Which is really quite silly!

Yay rooibos! We drink a lot of that in my house. It actually works with milk, which I have to admit is a big attraction for me. ;)

I still haven't mastered making coffee with soy milk, so I only have coffee when I go out. At home I always drink tea - I have a morning and afternoon tea break most days (unless I'm too busy to make it to the kitchen). Usually I have green tea in the morning (right now I have green tea with cranberry, but I also like it with apple and pear) and a black, red, or herbal tea in the afternoon. I like mint or nettle based herbal teas, rather than fruit, but I will drink almost anything (except chamomile - I haven't got the hang of that ever). The only thing I add to it is a tiny teaspoon of honey. I really love blue tea (it's like halfway between green and black), but I haven't found anywhere that sells it in bags or by the leaf yet for home drinking ( ... )

I'm not really a big fan of soy, but there is a tea called Choc Chip Chai that is made on vanilla soy and it is delicious! It is going to be my fav winter drink I think.

I use to only drink herbal tea when I was sick. I'm trying to branch out into herbal a bit more :)

I am uber impressed that you only have two cups a day!! I have at least four cups of tea a day. Half the time it is purely so I can get up from my desk and go and do something else for a little while.

Sometimes I think a cup of tea is made even more amazing by having a china tea cup to drink it out of.

The Voice has just started on TV tonight and I shouldn't have started watching it - it is going to make me cry. I blame the fact that Keith Urban is one of the judges and he's been sexy as hell in all the ads and I just have to watch him. Don't think I've ever heard him sing until tonight, but think I might have to check him out.

I have lemon in hot water first thing - that's almost tea.

You inspired me to go to the fancy tea shop today - I had a pot of green Gunpowder Pinhead tea (apparently Guy Fawkes' favourite blend). Was very nice.

Spent all evening making myself a Brian/Justin wallpaper. I have them snogging all over the screen. I regret nothing.

My default cup of tea is black with milk and no sugar. These days my standard tea brand is Barry's, which is very satisfying and yum, and the company happens to be from around here. I like the stuff in the black box ( ... )

Do you always make a pot of tea when you have tea? I am trying to get into the habit of making a pot of tea on the weekends in the morning. Usually I just use tea bags :)

I have a friend who had apple tea in Turkey and came back here looking for it. She found some at my tea shop, and said it was nearly as good. I will have to make a note to add that to my list of teas to try.

Yeah, because that's my latest technique for tricking myself into drinking enough liquids... It's been working really well so far (I've been at it since last summer, roughly), or at least better than anything I tried before.

I used to drink loose tea only/mostly, and that was a lovely ritual, but since I moved to tiny-town Ireland it's - really rather hard to come by. At the same time the bagged tea is amazing, so really I just make More Bagged Tea At Once in my pot.
