Yeah, that mad cloudburst happened just after I picked up my son from school--as I was on my way across town to pick up my daughter. She got caught in it, and was very soaked and scared, even though she normally enjoys thunderstorms. Driving through it wasn't any fun either, but at least we were dry.

We also lost a very large tree branch in the back yard, which fortunately fell at the back of our lot, and just missed the garage.

It was going when I left my office building to go home. Three blocks to South Station with an umbrella. My left arm was literally dripping water. 10 minutes later it was sunny...

grapefruiteater can attest to the fact that I was such a rain snob yesterday. Back in Florida, downpours like that were a dime a dozen. And they're one of the few things I miss from Florida. So yesterday's deluge was a welcome arrival.

Rain up here is so wussy typically. :-)

I see! Well.

I'm so disappointed that nobody noted my take-off on rains/planes. Maybe it was funniest to myself.
