Coloured panda!Sanzo with his ever faithful sidekick

This piece was inspired by baka_gaijin, who gave me such a wonderful comment on my girl!Gojyo and then asked, ever so nicely, for a panda!Sanzo, I just had to do it.

And, well, Goku just refused to be parted from Sanzo and who am I to say no to something that could rip my throat out with no problem the cute little monkey.

I can't breath! I'm laughing tooo hard. This is priceless! And I love the look on Goku's face. Kinda of like "WTF??"

I'm so glad that you enjoy it. And Goku's face--yes, that is about what he is thinking because he is trying to figure out how Sanzo got the lettering on his fan.

Hakkai looks at Goku, who shrugs. "I didn't see him write it. I don't think he could hold a pen, anyway."

I also figure that Goku is trying to avoid another panda-swipe, so he is shrinking away from Sanzo.

You can see Goku's head starting to creep down, anticipating the next panda-swipe. So, does panda!Sanzo look like you envisioned?

I had to decide whether to add the scripture or not, and since no one was freaking out about the scripture being missing, I figured he was wearing it still. Then I realized that since it was used to help create the world and is a magical item--just like Sanzo's gold card--then a measly little spring curse wouldn't be able to touch it, leaving it on Sanzo's shoulders before and after transformation.

Gojyo and Goku might have missed it at first in the shock
I am amazed that Gojyo managed to notice that Sanzo's eyes are still violet, what with the whole panda thing.

Panda!Sanzo and Goku are wonderful! I really like the lineart version, too. Oh man, such a cranky panda. XD
