Is not a secret that many of us learned to love this lonely girl with a lot of family issues but since Nina confirmed that there won’t be any Elena next season because she’s leaving, what does this mean for the the show? Or a better question, what did Elena meant for the story of the show?.

I always expected the show to end with Defan, I guess I was right the whole time.
But anyways is going to be weird to look at tvd without Nina Dobrev, this will make the show better or worse? I don't know, but I'm curious about it hahaha
I'm also excited to see what Nina is gonna do next, she already said that she doesn't want to play the same role again, she was a normal girl as Elena, a psychotic woman as Katherine, a lovely old vampire as Amara and again a normal woman as Tatia; what is she gonna play next? Hahaha she already have a bunch of characters played in Vampire Diaries.

I totally agree with you! Elena is the glue that keeps most of the other characters together. I absolutely adored Nina as Katherine, I thought she was brilliant, and in a way I'm glad she was killed before she could get boring. I'm not sure how the next season will pan out without Nina, I think it will depend on how the current season ends for Elena. I think she will long be one of my favorite ever TV characters.

Yeah she is, thanks for the support anyways :)
And well, is not really the first time a show loses the face of the show and works, in Spain there was a veeeeery good tv show where the protagonist left and the show kept going for 3 more seasons with an amazing audience.
