Happy birthday to me! So far, I've gotten: a headache? a stomache ache? a red sore throat with a swollen right side?

it's good to know my childhood tradition of being sick on my birthday is happily carrying on without my permission.

Because my parents send me a package with my glasses in it, and he somehow manages to stuff a box of tissues in there as well. But, oh, not just ANY box of tissues: a box of Red Sox tissues.

What could possibly be more lovely and romantic than celebrating my one year anniversary with a boy that I adore?

Spending it in Paris! We just bought tickets for Spring break. We even managed to get on the same flight at one point, so we arrive and leave Paris at the same time. Perfection.

When I was young, I remember waking up in the middle of the night and stumbling sleepily down the stairs for a glass of water. More times than not, my mother would be up, rocking in her chair, the only light on in a dark house at 3 am.
