When I opened up this entry, the first words to pop out of my mouth were "OH MY GOD!" ... then my dearest ran over to look, and after an initial "WOW!", he said "and she was worried about how it would come out?!" Now he is going on and on about how something that magnificent requires "real skill" and "dedication", and how its obvious, after looking at that beautiful dress, that you've got both ... :)

We are both completely blown away by your talents!!!! You are going to look AMAZING ... and it WILL fit!!... :)

Ahhh thank you so much! I always have trouble to see if things look right when I work on a long project. I always tend to lose myself in the tiny details and lose sight of the big picture...
I think it is the first time I manage to overcome this :D

PS. Obviously, my dearest is not a seamstress, and so he knows nothing about the stress we feel when facing a pile of taffeta and ribbons that we want to turn into pure gorgeousness! :)

It was fun to take the pictures and I can't believe how much I transformed the dress!

That is gorgeous, very elegant you are so good at things like this....I am so crap at sewing etc, that I get scred of going to events like this sometimes!
Will you be at the LVG tonight with your goodies, I'd love to pick up a couple of your new things.

Awww thank you very much Elsa! I am crap at sewing too, the shrug is extremely simple and so are the underskirts :)
As for the jewellery you weould have certainly done better than me!

Oh sorry I am not making the LVG tonight, I need to pack the dress! But I will have a stall at the LVG party next Saturday :D
