WHO: Death the Kid{symmetrickid}, Road {candygenocide} WHERE: Lobby to Kitchen WHEN: 11pm SUMMARY: Describe what happens in the log. RATING: G-PG-13 WARNINGS: Subject to change STATUS: In-Progress
It hadn't taken Road very long to slip out of her room and into the lobby. She was, after all, on the first floor. She had moved quietly through the hall, attentive to any and all noises, it seemed, though it was hard not to giggle at the few she heard. She could have sworn she heard someone singing in the shower and a moan or two. She could have gotten more amusement by wandering the halls after curfew!
Laughing lightly, she wandered down the shadowed stair well, feet barely making any sound as she took to the steps carefully. For some reason, she was being stealthy, though she didn't really have a fear of being caught. It was in her nature, she supposed.
Jumping off the last step and landing lightly, Road pushed open the ground floor door and moved silently into the dimly lit lobby. She had spotted Kid after just a moment of scanning and she snuck up behind him.
"Boo~" she whispered into his ear as she grabbed his shoulders gently before giggling softly. [ooc: Bad post is bad. Curses! -angry fist.-]
His shoulders tensed and a small embarrassing gasp slipped past his lips. "Shit!" He turned around eyes slightly wide. This was something Kid would have to get use to. Normally he'd be able to sense a wavelength, which wouldn't allow for such surprises as simple as this.
"Oh, it's you Road." His heart still hammered against his chest, taking a moment to calm now that he knew it wasn't any sort of danger. "You didn't have any trouble coming down right?" He asked in hushed tones, not really wanting that thing, The Darkness, coming to find them.
Even as he waited for her answer he was starting to make his way towards the double door leading to the Refectory. Pushing one open, he peeked his head inside making sure no one was there before stepping in, keeping the door open so that Road could follow.
It was hard not to smile at Kid's reaction, though it was all just in innocent fun. Though, she supposed that it could be frightening being all alone in the lobby, not sure what to expect. Of course, she hadn't felt real fear in this hotel
( ... )
"Where did you get that?" He indicated towards the key. "I'm pretty certain someone around this Hotel wouldn't just hand it to you." For a brief moment his mind flashed back towards that man who had warned him about Road. Yet, he himself hadn't seen any real proof that she was as cruel as Dilandau made her out to be. From what he could tell, she seemed to enjoy mischief, but that wasn't enough to condemn her.
He'd have to wait, see how things went for now before making rash judgments about her. After all, he'd said he'd help. Pushing back these thoughts for now he scanned around, his eyes falling onto each cupboard curiously before considering.
"I suppose we'll have to guess for now." He held his chin in hand, concentrating on which one he'd want to choose. There were so many of them, yet his finger jutted out and pointed towards the first one, which was near the refrigerator.

"Let's try that one first."
