Stepping out into the corridors merely gave him a sense of deja vu. The decorum was just as atrocious as it had been the day of the ball. Many of the guests he passed by on his way towards room 106 seemed to suffering from the same strange bemused expressions.
If someone had been counting how much time he'd spent making his way towards young Road's room, then they would probably notice that three hours had passed by before his pale hand reached out to knock.
After all, all the paintings were crooked again and they needed fixing.

Road had an idea that Kid had some sort of obsessive compulsive disorder but she wasn't aware how bad it was until three hours later, when a knock roused her from her spot at her desk. She stretched her arms heavenward before she snapped her laptop shut, standing and crossing the room toward the door.
In between the three hours that it had taken Kid to get to her room, Road had darted in and out of her room, snatching things out of the kitchen while it was still accessible. And, at one point, she knocked out one of the hotel employees because she wanted their glasses. She was now donning the pair of said glasses.
"I was beginning to think you were dead," she teased as she opened the door, her blue eyes glinting behind the glasses with amusement as she observed Kid quietly. Well, he certainly wasn't lying about his love for symmetry. But his hair...
"Oh~" she giggled. "The stripes in your hair are so cute, Kid."

"Funny you should say that since I thought so, as well." What appeared before him seemed to be a regular looking girl. Dark messy hair, that had his eyebrow twitch slightly, but he contained that for the moment and glasses hid blue orbs behind the frames.
He supposed as he allowed his own golden hues to take her in, she wasn't totally without promise.
Yes, He was certain he could tame that hair.
The next words uttered from her lips had Kid dropping to his knees. "No, no! They're not, they make me scum, NO, lower than scum! They ruin my whole image!" He bent over pounding his fists on the ground quite depressed at being reminded of them.
"Ah...If only I didn't have these stripes."

She bent down, nudging Kid gently.
"I think they're cute," she studied him quietly, chin resting in the palm of her hand now. "They don't ruin your image at all!" perhaps she meant to talk more of his stripes to tease him, perhaps not. No one could ever be sure with her.
She had to admit, he was already amusing her.
"Well... if you mope around all day, you won't be able to help me with my toilet paper," she changed the subject, chuckling gently under her breath.
