WHERE: Starts in the lobby, and from there, some place to spar
WHEN: After Naruto's journal post about a sparring partner

Naruto made his way down to the lobby as safely as he could, avoiding the areas he knew weren't free of...monsters or other things. A spar would do him good, and he hoped Lee would meet Ion and him later on. Either way, he wouldn't mind sparring all day if he had to.

He grinned at the person sitting on the couch, even if he wasn't entirely sure he'd spoken to him much before.

"Hey!"

Ion turned, then stood as Naruto approached. "Hey yourself." Naruto's grin was apparently contagious, because a similar one appeared on Ion- albeit a smaller one, to avoid showing off his fangs.

"So, is there anywhere on the grounds good for sparring that you know of? I doubt they," he gestured to a few miscellaneous staff members to illustrate who 'they' was, "would continue ignoring us if we started breaking furniture somewhere."

Lee had logged off his computer and not a few seconds later was out the door of his room. A spar! Oh my, how long had it been?? He needed this, desperately needed a moment to sweat out and share in a youthful spar with Naruto and possibly that Ion boy. He had not met him, this also opened up the possibilities of new friends!

Always a good thing.

He rushed through the more... questionable... parts of the hotel, avoiding any mishaps and made his way to to the lobby. He did not really know what Ion looked like but Naruto stood out like a sore thumb, as always.

"Naruto-kun!" he greeted as he hurried up. "May I congratulate you on such a wonderful idea to have a youthful spout of sparring today!"

(ooc: i'm at work guys so my interaction might be delayed. just have lee tagging along and randomly shouting words of encouragement if i vanish for too long. maybe he can fight the winner?)

Ion's eyebrows rose. This boy was strange, but then, Abel was pretty strange as well. "Uh, nice to meet you. I'm Ion." He extended his hand for a handshake.

Lee peered at Ion for a moment, before he smiled brightly and reached out, shaking Ion's hand and probably holding onto it a little more tightly then he meant to. "Ion-san! It is nice to meet you! I am Rock Lee!"

Lee's grip was a little tighter than that of most humans he'd shaken hands with. Of course, he'd shaken hands with very few humans, really.

"You have a very firm grip." He noted, a bit blandly. It didn't hurt after all, it was just a little surprising.

Zack hurried down to the lobby, barely noticing whoever and whatever he passed on the way - he was way too thrilled about sparring again, even without his Buster Sword. He'd had plenty of hand-to-hand combat training, but it'd been ages since he'd been able to use it - he was vaguely hoping in the back of his mind that he didn't get his butt kicked. But what were the chances of that? He was a SOLDIER 1st class, for crying out loud.

"All right, ninja boy!" Zack cried as he flew into the lobby, hands on his hips. "Ready when you are!"

Ion turned. "Are you sparring with us too, then?" He extended a hand to Zack. "I don't believe we've met yet. I'm Ion."

Naruto grinned wide, Zack's enthusiasm making his own rise. "Alright! I can spar with Zack first just so I can show him how much I'll kick his ass," Naruto offered, smirking at Zack.

"And I'll spar with Lee, then...winner vs. winner." Ion smirked.
