"MMMMOOOVVE" Kid panted as he continued to shove his body up against the side of the air conditioner. When he had looked at the floor plan he realized that moving the monstrous thing up against the wall would help balance his room out. After all, the AC was about the width and height as the closet, which was situated against the other side of his room, he had measured eighty-times to make certain of it.
All his shoving was amounting to nothing though, it appeared the damn thing did not want to comply and he was practically on the verge of tears before hearing the strange rhythmic beat played out on his door.
Eight beats...He counted. Smiling he gathered himself up as he crossed over towards the door opening it. Before him stood a girl about his height, brunette hair swept up in a messy pony tail, and light brown eyes. Her smile was welcoming.
"Ah! Arrange! I'm glad you're finally here. Please come in." He stood aside to allow the girl passage, noticing the way she tried to hide a basket she had behind her back.
A smiled and counted exactly four steps into the room, to be courteous. "Hello Kid-kun! A is here to help with all the symmetry deals!" she said in a chipper tone. Tilting her head, she noticed that everything(except his hair, the only not symmetrical thing) was absolutely perfect. It only made her grin even wider about the basket she felt pressing against the small of her back.
"A has carefully considered something to bring to Kid as a welcoming present!" she exclaimed excitedly. All the excitement was making her jumpy and she had to bounce up and down on the balls of her feet.
He closed the door after allowing her to fully enter. "Thank you for coming to help out!" He replied with a small smile gracing his features. His eyes raised slightly though as he noticed her taking him in. Her eyes, though he tried hard not to notice, had stopped to focus on the three white stripes in his hair, before continuing their inspection.
"Really?! A present for me?" his smile became fuller at the thought of her kindness. He took in the way she seemed to bounce in place, the black, business suit she was wearing contrasting with her obviously bubbly nature, while trying to glance at the contents of the basket wondering what it could possibly be.
A giggled to herself, finding it funny how eager he was for the present. He always appeared to be calm, that is, when he wasn't freaking out about perfection. She nodded and pulled the basket in front of her, "But A needs Kid to a-n-s-w-e-r a question for A first!" she smiled cutely at him, wondering exactly how she'll react to his reaction, whatever that may be.
She took a deep breath and stopped bouncing. Closing her eyes, she looked down and said in a velvety, sweet voice, "Does Kid have a date for the ball? And if not...Would Kid like to join A?" she opened her eyes, that shone brightly into his, and smiled her best smile for him.
