Munching on the lunch he had brought from the kitchen, Luffy looked around himself in confusion. Why did all the hallways look the same in this place? Was he even on the right floor?
IIIII~I'm stuck in some funny hoootel~," he started to sing in a high-pitched whiny voice, "and everyone here is weeeeeeird~!"
Freezing before he could start the next verse, Luffy noticed a door with room number. Well, at least this one wasn't another broom closet! Room.... 690.
"HAHAHAHA~!" Luffy laughed boisterously, clutching at his sides and flopping against the door to hold himself up. A loud "THUD" issued from his shoulder colliding with the door as his laughter filled up the hallway.

Lee heard the laughter first and foremost. When was the last time he heard anyone laugh in this place? He sat up quickly, hair falling into his eyes as he did. "Hello?" he asked, before quickly standing up and hurried over to the door.
The laughter was not familiar, he knew what his friends sounded like when they were happy. Well, all but Gaara. Lee had never heard him laugh. He opened the door and yelped with a skinny man wearing a straw hat almost fell clear through into his room, what with the shifting door.
He grabbed at the man's arm to steady him, eyes wide.
Tumbling gracelessly against the boy, Luffy reached up to make sure his hat stayed in place. His laughter subsiding to little giggles, he looked up at the person who had caught him from falling through the door with interest.
It was a young man, roughly his own age with large, bright black eyes and really cool eyebrows. He looked quite surprised for some reason
Grinning like a maniac, Luffy straightened himself up and gave a cheerful, "Hi! Who are you?"
