Death Scythes are weapons that have consumed 99 corrupt souls, and the soul of a witch; they are far stronger than normal weapons.
And by 'weapon', I mean a person that has a weapon form.

Only weapons that decide to follow the path of the Kishin are evil.

What's a Death Scythe?

A weapon is a human that has a weapon form and can transform from one form to the other at will, and a Death Scythe is a weapon that's consumed 99 corrupted souls, and one witch's soul, which I then grant the title of Death Scythe, as well as boost it's power as a reward.
The point of consuming corrupted souls is to keep balance between good and evil in the world.

A person's soul becomes corrupt when they follows the path of evil and do bad deeds, and the purpose of keeping the world balanced is for peace.
