This post speaks eloquently on the subject of suicide--I think it is the best thing I have ever read on the subject and is informed by personal, family experience. I think this should be required reading for everyone, everywhere.

Especially the part about suicide not being selfish---she so nailed the house of diminishing rooms metaphor.

I have read this and see I think why you think it valuable and posted it .
It is a difficult subject and one that perplexes and tears at many people in ways they cannot really speak about.

I think it is something people should talk about = indeed this inspired me to do just that with a colleague on theway to a meeting today - and it turned out that he has been trying to come to understand it after his son attempted suicide last year. (the young man is now considerably better in health ) So it was thing like worhtwhile conversation and useful progamming on yor behalf. You have enabled a great deal heer - and at least one other person has already benefitted frm the ticket sales !
