i love fr. harry. he did my wedding. i didnt know you were catholic! the atrium is nice but has a lot of faults to it. i didnt like the columns in the middle of everything. too big and hard to see around. how much is the site at the commons. i wish that was ava. when i was getting married. ill have to send you a picture from my wedding of my bouquet. also check out the bloomery online they have some great fall flowers. they book up well in advanced so if you want them book them soon.

I'm not catholic, but Dave is. Not only am I not catholic, I wasn't baptized, and I live with Dave already....soooo as far as Catholic priests go, Father Harry was pretty freaking cool.

I am haggling price with the ballroom right now...they have two rooms, one holds 80 and one holds 150, and they offer a discount if you get both. we want to book both so the caterers and stuff can set up in the smaller room, but we're haggling. their current price for both is $2200. I'm trying to get it down to 2,000 even, paid in full up front. we'll see.

I want to do 'fake' flowers, not real ones, because A)Dave volunteered his mom to do arrangements before I had a say...and she's not the most reliable at the last minute, so I want all my flowers done months in advance, and B) I am not a big fan of flowers and would prefer not to spend a small fortune on them.lol I don't know what I am doing for centerpieces or anything, yet, but we'll see.

Hope Brycen is feeling better :)

my centerpieces were carved pumpkins and gourds that we grew ourselves. :o) the pumpkins had candles in them and further down the table we had small votives.

Would you mind sending me some of your wedding pics? I'd love to see what the church looks like in pictures, and it sounds like your theme is close to mine!
