The snow was coming down wet and thick-not dry enough to stick but enough to form fat white flakes as they floated down from the sky-as she just curled into the warm body next to her, not wanting to move or even think about the state of the weather outside.

Michael grunted and wrapped his arm tighter around her. He tucked his face into her warm hair and mumbled something along the lines of it was her fault they were living where it snowed.

She chuckled as she curled into him more, just letting herself relax and head back to sleep.

He sighed and wrapped himself closer for the warmth, and was about to fall asleep himself, when a tiny Lizzie landed on top of them.

"Ooof!" He groaned. "Lizziiiie."

"Daddy!" she grinned. "Get up get up get up it's Christmas!"

"Love," she sighed softly, brushing her hair back gently. "It's two in the morning."

"So? Still Christmas."
