it's about pain and about compassion. Most people think their pain is greater than others and judge judge judge. It's about compassion- obviously something they probably don't understand. Jealousy, fear, pain..these are all very hurtful feelings and until one can understand you and your pain...they can't have any compassion. They can't live with themselves and react in this judgemental fashion that i'm sure only hurts them in the end. And for that, I feel sorry and empathetic. It's too bad. Maybe I'm the crazy one..who knows. I just don't feel like I need to call someone a name because they expressed an opinion or a judgement. Instead I just tell them that I care for them and that i'm sure they're a good person on the inside..and that somehow does the trick. People understand then. They get it. They.."look, smile and think to themselves" about themselves. I think that's one of my favorite phenomenons.

I agree 100% with everything you said...........

Just time and time again I read some things that concern me because the comments have no basis. How anyone in this lifetime can say "this is how these people are, this is how all men are" because of the ones they've known is beyond me. For example, the only consistent concept isn't that "all men are dogs," in fact it's "all men said person has met in her lifetime have been dogs." People like to pass blame on everybody when they themselves are the culprits of nearly everything in their own lives. People who consistently pass blame on everyone else, think they've pegged everyone else, are very insecure people and they hide behide false knowledge...........and like I said you see it in alot of LJ's ..........

Interesting. I find the whole concept of LJ to be both interesting & weird. And nobody ever really talks about it! It's so odd to write in a journal and have it be visible for others to read. I can relate to a lot of what I read on here too, which is why I like it. And I think people become repetitive about certain things because it's a source of contention for them and they don't know how to solve it... so it keeps coming up again & again. I don't know how much my own frustrations reflect in my entries, but I don't mind when I read journals like that because I figure they're trying to find their way. As long as people aren't judgemental, I can usually empathize with them.

I'm always trying to empathize with them. It concerns me at times though to see how "convinced" certain people are when it comes to other people. I see alot of radical judgements made on people they haven't even met in this life yet. It's just like the girl who goes "all guys are assholes" or the guy that goes "all girls are sluts"........that kind of mentality is pure contamination.

"It is in my humble opinion that the people who "get it" the people who are enlightened do not point fingers............they look, smile, and just think to themselves."

That has been one of the smartest things I've ever read.
Thank You
