I had a pretty good 4th . . . very peaceful. I took Robby, Dawn, and the Cam-Jam to the Riverfront Wyndham because they had booked a room so the Cam-Jam could watch the fireworks and swim. Reading through this entry, made me think about the friend who stayed with us, this past weekend. She is also in a bad place, right now. And we kept telling her, she is not a bad person. She is not a failure.
Now, I'm going to tell you the same thing. Just step back and ask yourself, if you were such a failure, why would your students look up to you? And don't let what the creep ex says, have any affect on your own self worth.
As for mothers, sometimes they say things without even realizing how they are hurting the ones they love. This isn't a criticism, only a fact of life. Whether that's something that was said or done to you, or that you have done.
So, I'm telling you to stop thinking of yourself as a failure. And know that I'm thinking of you and sending you well wishes, good vibes and hugs.
