My birthday is tomorrow. And tomorrow is also the day that I'm on the salon floor at school 24/7, taking clients. I'm excited and dreading it at the same time!

This is honestly one of the lowest points in my whole life. The people at our school didn't verify Kevin's enrollment in time, so he was supposed to get paid today (through the GI bill) but they only just verified him late Thursday night. Okay people. I'm seriously considering getting a stud on my bottom lip (on my right side, so it'll be on the left side in pictures). Plz let me know if you think it would look okay, or if I should place the stud somewhere else around my mouth (monroe, labret, etc). All of the people with children on my friends list are incredible, and truly exceptional examples of young parents. It's been a while since I updated. Not really sure why. Just haven't felt up to it. I still go on LJ once or twice a day and read everyone's entries so I haven't lost interest in LJ necessarily. I've been feeling pretty anxious over the past few days and I tend to stay pretty quiet during these times.

He filed for federal disability about a month ago, so when that finally goes through, he'll be getting back-pay from the day he got out of the military until that present day. Should be a sweet chunk of change. Last night I threw out the idea of using the ( Read more... ) -

I've just kinda been hanging out lately. We went to the hotel last weekend which was wonderful and I miss it. It was in a really nice, beautiful part of the city and just...ugh. I'd give anything to be back there.
