Hidden Springs

Aug 27, 2011 21:39

I've been exploring Hidden Springs since yesterday and I must say that it's beautiful but takes a little bit of getting used to.

Here is a small picspam of Hidden Springs and the 2 sims I have moved into the world (which is already populated).

Hidden Springs really looks gorgeous but I've heard it's really expensive as well... =/
Do you think it's worth the money? I'm guessing it comes with some exclusive items too, right?
Your sims are gorgeous too by the way! =)

It's definitely a gorgeous world. And it is expensive. It does have the fountain of youth object and some new rabbit holes and rabbit hole recolours. But is a world plus one interactive object and some recolours worth the full $US25? Absolutely not. I'm not sure if it comes with any other objects as I have been concentrating on playing my sim rather than looking through buy and build mode.

Since you have a lurking-only journal I'm not sure if you play Sims 3 or not. If you do, do you want the world to check out for yourself?

Welcome to Bakers Anonymous. Please check my journal for cupcakes.

I've been lurking a lot lately. I'm hoping to become slightly more active soon. I just have not felt like posting lately.

Hidden Springs really is beautiful. Congratulations on getting the S3 hair retexturing down, the hair looks great to me :)

Also:
"Damson felt sullied by that experience. I don't blame her. That was gross!"

It's a very pretty world. I enjoy looking at it.

And thanks for linking the hair retexture. I might need to tweak the Pooklet base texture a bit. The black looks a bit green. But I have it almost to the publishable stage.

Hidden Springs looks lovely! I've heard a lot of people dislike the the hyper saturation of it - but I think it looks very pretty in your screenshots. Your sims are great as well. :D

I don't find it to be hyper-saturated. But then maybe it's just me.

The images at the beginning of the post are what it actually looks like. From the leaping fish in the moonlit pond onwards the images have had their saturation level increased. You can tell easily enough where I uppped the saturation level :) I think I need to edit my image editing action, reduce the saturation a little.
