A question for clothing meshers

So I downloaded these and these. Cute, right? WRONG! They're super cute but they also conflict with each other and with the original Sentate mesh to the point of none of them showing up except the wing dress with flats. For some reason that works. Sometimes.

I have no idea what the creator did but the chucks mesh from the first link interferes with ( Read more... )

Well, it could be that the creator used the original meshes as base and then used a SimPE function called "fix integrity" to rename its parts. For some reason this does not work properly, and rather causes the original mesh to show, still ( ... )

Oh, I forgot to say: If you import something back into SimPE, make sure you have "All Files" selected in the window and select the real file, not that .xml thing SimPE creates for anything you extract with it. ^^;

THANK YOU! I will give this a go in the morning. It's getting late (at least for me) so my mind can only cope with straight up playing the game rather than trying to fix this in SimPE. The instructions look easy enough with one small exception - which GMDC do I import at this step?
"- then click on the GMDC once again; right click and select "replace" from the drop down menu, browse to the GMDC you saved in the step above and select it"

The one from the very first step or from the step just above that quoted one, where I seem to be required to extract/save something which you do not name? Other than that, looks easy as pie :)

You import the GMDC from the first step. The GMDC file is the one which contains the actual mesh information. So, in short, what you are doing is take one of the modified Sentate meshes, extract the mesh information, build a new mesh from scratch and import this information into that one. I hope this makes it clearer?
