Frustration

Grrrrr. I am completely frustrated. Today has been a day of total fail, the writing having hit a stone wall. Words are backed up inside my head and won't come out. I hate when that happens. I thought I'd read a BB or two by way of consolation. Even that didn't help

HAHA, you sound just like me! I even took Friday off from work, just to try and write. So I'm sitting in front of my computor, and it's too quiet, so I turn on the television. Channel hopping for half an hour proves there's nothing on, so I pop in the Generation Kill DVD's that are on top of the player. I realise after a few minutes that I can't really do both, but it's a really awesome scene, so I'll just finish this episode, THEN I'll write. Then I realise I'm a little hungry. I'll just quickly go get something to eat first. Settling back in, oops, I need to go pee. While I'm up I'll go make some tea. Okay, so I'm just gonna quickly check the friends list, THEN I'll write, I promise. OOOH, candle-beck posted fic, I HAVE to read that first, but it'll be quick, honest. Okay, back to google docs, fingers poised on keyboard ... I have to go pee again. Maybe there's something on TV now, back to channel hopping AND OMG, WHERE HAS THE DAY GONE? It can't possibly be this late and oh, I'm so sleepy. Tomorrow morning, first thing, I SWEAR, I'll start

LOL! Your day sounds so much like mine I can't believe it. Up. Down. All around. Must have changed layouts twenty times, watched movies I wasn't really interested, and decided I hated all my unfinished fics with a passtion.

I really hope today isn't a repeat. Though I can already feel my fingers itching to change layouts again and I'm wondering what's on TV.

Yeah! Breakfast. Then I'll start writing for sure. :-(
