Okay, first of all: these graphics, oh my godddddddd. Not only are they incredibly beautiful, they fit the tone of the story perfectly. I mean, that gif, is just... Charles with a gun, Charles willing to kill, yes, exactly. And the rest of the graphics... they just make everything look decaying and broken and brutal and it's just amazing. I love that you chose images from films so Charles and Erik can look shabby and beat-up and dirty, because they would be, and we never even mentioned that and you knew, then the only image of Scott is him just despairing, and the two of Logan he's so, so hard to read. And "still people", yes, yes.
Then, of course, the music is just as desolate as the images, as the story. The first piece, it hurts to listen to it, and I can so easily tell why you put this first. The second piece, again, has such atmosphere to it, (and it's so, so perfect for Erik & Charles). Two Steps From Hell, oh my gosh, I love them! This is so wonderful, so evocative, and well, fuck, a piece to kill zombies to, am I right? The

Also, Siken, Siken is my saviour, and a direct influence on this story, bizarrely, fortuitously, exactly the poem you chose, because "the place where we weren’t stitched up quite right, the place they could almost slip right into through if the skin wasn’t trying to keep them out, to keep them here" isn't that just these boys all over? Seriously, I can't think of how this could be more perfect.
