I don't know what it is about this fic, but by the end of each chapter I'm holding my breath and my heart is hammering against my ribs. Wonderful as always. I think maybe I can relate somewhat to Dom (gah, sounds ridiculous doesn't it?)
Dominic’s hair was highlighted by the faint light coming from the kitchen down the hall, his features shadowed. Matthew could see his large grey eyes glinting in the dim illumination
One of my favourite lines. To me I felt like the darkness of the room was kind of like how Matt viewed the world, or at least his own character...but to have Dom illuminated like that, it was sort of like Matt saw Dom as his guiding light (excuse the Muse reference but it fits). I just thought that scene was very well written and like I said, I was feeling Dom's uncertainty, fear and desperation to please Matt so strongly, it had me on the edge of my seat.
Again, amazing update, can't wait for the next chapter!

No, it's not ridiculous to feel like you're relating to Dom, I've had a couple of people say that now, and about Matt too.
You called Dom Matt's guiding light: that's exactly what he is. He's illuminating Matt's dark world. :D
Again, thank you! <3
