Since he had got Yoko text, Maru had been wandering aimlessly around his apartment, not really finding the peace to simply sit down and wait for his friend to arrive. It was seldom that Yoko wrote in such a serious tone, and if he did it sure was no good sign.
"Kimi-kun, Kimi-kun~", Maru sighed out as he looked out the window and down on the parking lot in front of his apartment but even with the streetlights on it was already too dark to see who came and went all the time.
Even tho he had been waiting for Yoko, he still jumped a little when the door alarm went of in a loud "Ding dong Dang dong~" and he hurried to the door and pushed the buzzer button so that Yoko could enter the apartment complex. He then opened his door and stepped out in the hallway, barefooted.
Yoko heard the buzz of the door and entered the complex, heading straight for Maru's door. He could see Maru standing outside waiting for him, and cleared his throat as he approached.
"Hi..."
When it came down to it, he really didn't know what to say, so chose to say nothing for the time being. He was sure Maru could see the effects of Ryo's punch; blood was all over his shirt and probably on his face too. He was sure there'd be a bruise as well. Ryo packed a mean one.
Maru was plain shocked when he saw Yoko, blood smeared over his face which was a bit swollen and red marks all over his clothes.
"K-Kimi-kun, what happened?!!!!" Maru stuttered out in a loud voice and ran towards Yoko, not caring if he accidentally woke some of the neighbors up with the commotion. When he reached the other boy his hand automatically reached to the other's face, looking at the damage done. "You seriously need to get this disinfected, and that's now!" his arm reached around Yokos back and he guided the other boy into his apartment, forcing him to sit down on the couch while Maru found the disinfecting tools.
Blinking as Maru's hand reached his face, Yoko allowed Maru to guide him to the sofa, where he sat quietly waiting for the other man to do whatever he was doing. He hadn't answered yet, but spoke while Maru was gathering together the antiseptic and whatever else he was doing.
"Ryo is what happened. Ohkura and I went out for dinner, Ohkura got drunk...and I kissed him. I shouldn't have done but I didn't know they were together, and I didn't realise just how drunk Ohkura was. When he mistook me for Ryo, I took him home, but Ryo somehow got the wrong idea and punched me, then threw me out of Ohkura's apartment."
He put his head in his hands, his voice choked. "What have I done, Maru? I've screwed up their relationship without even knowing about it, and I've hurt my friends. I don't even blame Ryo for being angry. I think I would be too in his place. But I never took advantage of Ohkura. Ever!"

Yoko woke up slowly, feeling a warm weight on his chest and shoulder and turned to see Maru snuggled up to him, fast asleep. His breath caught in his throat as he watched the younger man sleep, a peaceful look on his face. Then he remembered the events of the night before and wanted more than ever to cry.
What was he doing here? Why had he asked Maru to be his boyfriend? It seemed Maru had feelings for him and he reciprocated but Maru felt pressured because of the situation? Because he felt lonely? He didn't really want sympathy if that were the case. He didn't deserve it, for one thing.
Rather than face Maru with the questions, he tried to slip out of bed to get dressed without waking the other man up, his eyes feeling suspiciously wet. He scrubbed at his face with one hand, almost angrily; he would never cry. He had promised himself that for years now.

Maru slowly woke up as he could feel that something was not right. Without opening his eyes, his hands reached around the body that was slowly getting away from him. He didn't want to miss this warmth by any means. As he pulled the body close again, he started to remember last night, how Yoko had appeared all beaten up and sad, how he had stopped him from leaving again, and then they had ended up in bed together. They were together now and the thought of that made Maru smile against the older ones skin.
He opened his eyes slowly and looked at Yoko, his sight still a little blurred, then he looked at the clock on the bed-table and gave out s sigh. "Mou~ It's still so early.. Go to sleep again Kimi-kun~" he whispered softly and tightened his grip so it ould be impossible for Yoko to leave the bed.

Lying stiffly in Maru's arms, having been pulled back into the bed and his embrace, Yoko couldn't help but let out a small sniffle as he tried to control the tears that were still threatening to fall. It just wasn't fair that now that he'd found someone, he didn't feel he deserved it and was still so full of insecurities it wasn't even funny. Weren't you supposed to be happy when you had someone who loved you?
"Maru...." he whispered, trying to get the other man to let him go. "Let go...I have to go..please..."
He didn't want to shame himself by crying in front of Maru.

The small sniffle didn't pass by unnoticed and Maru looked at Yoko again, starting to feel worried. Why does he want to leave? As far as I know he has no schedule he needs to follow today.. He loosened his grip a little, but he was still holding the older man down, their eyes connected and Maru became more serious.
"Kimi-kun.. Why do you want to leave?" keeping his eyes focused on Yoko's.
