Well I am getting married in Newfoundland Canada so it is alot cheaper there. No, I don't have any plans to do anything myself...I may do the centerpieces of something but the big thing with our budget is that I am not having a sit down meal, I opted for Hot and Cold Hors D'Oeuvres instead so that will be alot cheaper.
i never thought of just doing that. we have this huge hall and such.. i think a sit down works well but... im not sure if just apps. would work... i'll have to ponder the idea.
Well our venue is a beautiful ski lodge that holds 400 people. It is like a Huge Cabin...it is all wooded and all of the tables have marble tops. We just figured we are more laid back and both wanted that place but had to cut short on something so the food was what we decided. I have noticed that alot of wedding I go to...after the ceremony, while the party are getting pictures done alot of people go home or out to a restaurant and are usually really hungry so they eat something and then when the reception comes most people can't eat it all. lol We are having our ceremony at 3 and then our reception at 7pm :)
Hey, I totally and completely apologize if you don't want a comment like this; if that's the case, feel free to let me know, and it won't happen again. I was just wondering if you wanted to join a semi-new community, kiediselite. Trying to completely revamp the place (as I was just made mod). All suggestions are definitely welcome. I really want to get the place more active, more fun.
