Second to the kiss, which I will get to in a minute, this was my very favorite part.

"Oh Alex," Chris whispered softly, his own iron-clad control beginning to break as he put the cloth back down on the bed. "Come here dude."

Now, I'm not exactly sure why. Because it was so simple, maybe. Just a few words, but everything behind them, the love there. I just... I loved it.

And that kiss. Oh my. I'm not even sure if I have any other words at this point in time. Oh my. Chris, you better goddamn keep him safe, okay?

I only ended up adding in that line during the editing process, so I'm really glad that that was obviously the right decision to make! I rather liked it as well, it just seems so natural for them to have thsat kind of connection in so few words :)

God, I'm so happy that you liked the kiss, seems like everyone thinks that went well to me! Trust me, Chris will do everything in his power to keep Alex as safe as possible, but there is going to be an episode when Chris can't be with Alex, and alhough I'm not going to say anything, all I will say is that things won't go so well for Alex...

Man, I wish I could leave decent feedback, so I could you how much I utterly adored this chapter.

Especially the kiss at the end. It was so sweet and perfect. You could feel how much they cared about each other and I especially loved the way Chris took the time to reassure Alex whenever he got nervous.

As much as I'm looking forward to the often mentioned ass beating, this chapter was so sweet I couldn't help but love it.

Great chapter and I can't wait for more :)

Well, you know that's probably the most emotional and sweet that the Guns will get, but I just wanted something to really convey how much they loved each other, even if they don't entirely realise it yet. And you know that Chris will do everything in his power to make sure that Alex is okay :)

Don't worry, roughly planning it all out in my head, the asskicking should work out for about three chapters time, is that okay with you??? :)

*sniffles* This chapter was just so heartbreaking. Poor Alex, unable to remember anything, his memory is shot. And Chris is just being so caring, so gentle, so patient. Even after getting scratched, he stays calm, helps his friend.

Oh, and that kiss! My God....that was so beautiful! How it just relaxed Alex, gave him hope.

Hopefully things will get better for them both and AJ gets what he deserves!

Well, you know that Chris would do anything for Alex, and considering just how much Alex needs him at the moment, you know that he isn't going to get angry about a few scratches :)

I'm so damn happy that you liked the kiss!!! I was so difficult to write, what with trying to make it come across the way I wanted it to and everything, but I'm glad that people liked it :)

I can't guarantee anything, but I will say that a couple more things go down that means that AJ basically signs his death warrant as far as Chris is concerned, and you know that when Chris gets mad, there's no hope in hell of coming out the other side in one piece.
