The kilogram reference weight is dieting?

Apparently, the object in Sevres France, which serves as the reference by which we define a Kilogram is changing mass. Now, it's only off by 50 micrograms (roughly the mass of a finger print) but it's still off and they don't have a good theory as to why. The more fun part is that they don't know if it's getting lighter or if the other reference
