Uhm I can't say I liked this episode very much... It's cute and funny at times but whoever wrote the script is missing half of the brain, imho. =_=; First they can't get out of the Camelot for days, second Merlin's out far in the mountains dragging sick Freya with him. Oooh magic~ Again, instead of taking her to a healer, he takes her... to die? From a small wound? Not that they had antibiotics then, but still... *rolls eyes* Hell, if I was writing a fanfiction review I would have said "Bloody hell, why is Merlin so OOC?!" What's with sudden open magic usage? Or is he suddenly so in loooove he doesn't pay attention to anything else? gah Best part of the episode imho would be Arthur commenting that the dress would suit Merlin. XD Overall I feel like rewatching first season... it was far better. *sigh*
And nah, Freya didn't have any magic. She was cursed by a sorceress for killing her son and that's all that was magical about her.
I thought I d love this ep, Merlin falling in love and him kissing and omg Lady of the Lake who is not evil but Merlin's love, all that you know. I never imgined her story turned out that way, the furthest from what I can imagine. I can digest her being no magic but become magic after going through some magical incident, but not like this! winged panther pfftt
Plotholes is something I stopped concern myself with since season 2 started, there are countless! I had problem with them in s1 too but somehow it was still tolerable.
Best part of the episode imho would be Arthur commenting that the dress would suit Merlin. XD And this somehow confirm fandom's suspicion about how Arthur sees Morgana and Merlin alike, they look basically the same, just one s female and the other male :D
You know if s1 started like this season I d be in no way so infatuated -__- because even Merlin, who I mainly watch and root for was far better characterised in s1.
