First week of the semester down. So far, so good. I am really happy to be back in class. I came dangerously close to returning to old habits and ways of thinking this summer. I tend to shy away from directly talking about environmental issues here because, at the moment, I am no expert. The more amateur investigations I've done into the issues, the more I realize that soundbites and biased media reporting are not sources that particularly tell me what is going on. And to make any sense of the raw data and scholastic reports that are available I need more scientific and statistical evaluation training. So I'm gonna go get it!
For now, I'm just taking all the cores and prereqs that I can at FRCC on the cheap, and slowly plotting out my future. One more year here, then off to CSU for 2 or 3, then grad school...then saving the world shall commence!
