don't you know that horrible hurricanes/tsunamis/volcanoes have been happening since the world began?
i mean, there were horrid hurricanes a long time ago..and tidal waves like that come every hundred years.
now everybody has the news/internet and the bodies are all counted and searched for..and we see it on tv and hear about it.
i think that everybody alive when the black plague hit thought it must truly be the end of the world.or maybe the titanic or holocaust.these are all awful disasters of bibical proportions but the whole end of the world shit didn't go down.

and if the rapture happened after the end times..what would be the point?

don't feel sorry for those who aren't christian. they are mostly just practicing ANCIENT religions and belief systems which have been around aeons longer than Christianity and have much more basis, tolerance, love, meaning, and harmony than Christianity has got.
just because people see the world differently does not make them wrong or you right.

sad day. You know I basically left this community, but just felt like comming back for some odd reason, i don't know.
The whole entire last book of the bible, I haven't found just one that i rely on, there are so many, plus I don't exactly have a bible with me at school(yeah i know i should)... Though recently I've been reading about the seals, and the horse riders. In the class i'm in we are currently watching a video about the whole thing. I'll comment again later, when i find a bible...
Thanks!

I'd just like to say that if the "pagans" you have had to deal with are like the person above, you really haven't had a good sample of the pagan population. A lot of teenagers come to paganism just because they think it is like what they see on TV. They claim the religion is ancient and all that jazz, and they tend to be pretty confrontational. It's more because they are rebellious, angsty adolescents than anything to do with a pagan belief system (which people like that really only pretend to have anyway). If you are interested (probably aren't, but I'll throw it out here) in seeing a better representation of pagans and their various beliefs, check out the livejournal community nonfluffypagans (it's either pagan or pagans, I don't remember which just now). They tend to be more level headed... and around ten years older than the people who are probably trolling this journal. *smiles* I am pagan by the way, nice to make your acquaintance ( ... )
