[all at once, everything makes sense. His rifle disappears, he is rightfully reunited with his infamous white coat, and his powers return in an intoxicating rush. The absurdity of the change, the sheer awful ridiculousness of it, burns and burns and burns...

He grabs the journal, voice low and cold with anger...]

Wasn't that an entertaining little ( Read more... )

[Strange. Then again. Something about this place always made things seem more peculiar.

Gonou did not advanced toward the dog at first. Animals were certainly most interesting than humans though. Gonou happened to have some food from the mart on him. Things here were free after all. The child pondered if the animal was hungry, but first, approval test!

Quietly he closed the space until there was about a yard between them. The short boy held his hand out for the dog to sniff. Nothing was said just yet.]

[the dog just watches him. Unblinking, without a twitch of its tail, without the small active motions of an animal, it neither investigates nor moves away]

[This dog acted bizarrely. It couldn't have possibly saw him as a threat. Gonou tilted his head. The arm.]

Hm. I suppose it's a possibility you were a victim of these experiments everyone here commonly mentions. [Dull tone for a dull boy.

He inched closer. Experiment or not Gonou was able to get this close. Wasn't he? His hand was still out to investigate.]

[the dog's gaze shifts just a little, going from watching the boy to watching his hand. The dog seems wary-- not out of fear, but out of carefulness. As if it's slowly judging him]

[the dog gives the journal as blank a look as possible in this form. And growls softly. ...Idiots.]

[If Legato decides to sniff around the clinic for some food, it would be very easy to take it from the tall boy sitting quietly in his bed, staring into the middle distance. Mori will smell like blood, but the smell of his ignored lunch will be much stronger.]

[both smells catch him and lure him near. Approaching the boy quietly, he pauses nearby... watching carefully for a moment]

I do that all the time. needslovelyitem November 29 2010, 19:25:29 UTC
[It takes a moment but Mori eventually turns his head toward the sound of nails on the hard floor. He stares at the wolf for a moment, eyes moving down the odd leg. Then his eyes drift over to the tray. He moves slowly and carefully to pick up the bowl of beef stew, now pretty cold, and carefully bends down to place it on the floor. The motion moves his hair, making the head wound visible. It's mostly healed, but there's bits of dried blood on it. Then Mori sits up and looks lightly away from the animal. Making and holding eye contact with animals is rarely a good idea.]

[he looks on quietly, observing the wound, judging the boy's motions with careful measure. Being without his ability has him on edge, moreso than the simple fact of being trapped in the body of an animal, and it must give him the impression of being something half-feral. Stepping cautiously over, inspecting the food while keeping his eyes on the boy.

Then, after getting over the frustration of being without human hands, the dog carefully takes the edge of the bowl in its teeth, and slowly begins to slide it across the floor, putting some distance between it and the boy]
