I did post here regarding questions - and everyone was so helpful - i of course was saying i had the depo when i got the lupron - i'm sorry about that.

That has been interesting btw. I knew it kicked in because I couldn't sleep one night and then I got my hot flashes and turned into a complete btch. And I'm not like that. Mostly, I have a lot of hot

Are you doing the add-back hormone therapy at all? If you are finding the side effects (hot flashes, mood swings) that bothersome, you might want to talk to your doctor about that. It can help lessen those. The night sweats were my biggest issue even with the add-back therapy, though, so I unfortunately just kind of put on my big-girl panties and dealt with it

No, I haven't heard of add-back hormone therapy.. What is that about?
Oh those night sweats ieie. It's bad enough i get so hot and then can't get comfortable and then have night sweats on top of it haha. I say to my mom all the time - "ma how do you do this?!"
It was painful right after the shot - actually i had a bruise where my shot was (i bruise easily) and I couldn't lay on my left side for awhile. But that's a different kind of pain.

I haven't really had too much pain - except this bladder pain.

Well we haven't found a pain pill that will work with me. Right after my laparoscopic surgery - we had tried a lot- even fentanyl patch. I have some Tylenol codeine but my body is immune to most medicine and doesn't work. Even the otc stuff doesn't work.

thats why he went with the whole shot in the first place - because pain medicine doesn't work on me. I just normally suffer and use a heating pad.
