I currently take Loestrin 20 for three months at a time of active pills. Loestrin 20 doesn't have any non-active pills so instead of taking a break for a week, I just keep taking them.
I'm in the UK, so I don't understand why what you're proposing might be semi-legal - it sounds fine and sensible to me but I know your health system is very different to ours.
Loestrin gave me huge, hideous cystic chin boils, and there was no way to get rid of them other than going off it. My dermatologist said it's a really bad choice for any woman who has or has had acne.
Don't know about Loestrin specifically, but have you asked your doctor for a prescription acne cream? I had a similar problem with another BC pill, and the prescription one cleared it up.
