Cause you're still too uncomfortable to be able to fall asleep!

Sometimes even if I haven't slept, but I've been lying down most of the day,. I can't sleep that night - as thought my body thinks it's already had its rest. So, any way you could go for a walk or do something a little active to tire your body out more? Sorry to suggest it if it's out of the question.

Thats's the thing, I *had* been walking that day.. too much.. caused problems with my Fibro as well.. :(

But I do appreciate the sugestion.. if at night I find myself restless.. I'll go in the other room & do a bunch of yoga stretching exercises to stimulate teh muscles that area problem & to relax the ones that are agitated.. So I agree it's a very good idea :)

No theory, but a suggestion that might not work, but certainly won't hurt.

Get a warm hot water bottle or warm towel over where it hurts. Have someone fluff your pillow and make you a comfy nest of the softest blankets. Turn off the TV -- quiet music might help -- and just listen to your breathing. Or have someone read to you -- all of these things will relax your body, which helps pain go away and the sleep to come. Put one hand over your heart and another one over your belly button or a little lower and just close your eyes and feel the warmth. When I do this, I'm asleep in 15 minutes tops.

he problem was that it hurt almost everywhere.. I had a nice warm shower before I went into bed... tub's too small for a relaxing bath..Our pillows aren't fluffable, unfortunately.. we are going to be getting new pillows soon tho.. & there are no extra blankets cuz out comforter is unbelievably warm.. My SO wont read to me at 3am when I'm still awake.. mind you, an audio book might work... hmmm..

Thanks for the feedback :)

Aw. :(

Herbal tea? Good luck with the audio book. Visualization/medidation takes some practice, but is very effective.

Take care. :)
