I'd like to go to Egypt but I'm a bit afraid of heat and of the tourism industry in all its aspects.

the crew of the ship attacked by pirates has come back to France yesterday or the day before. They talk about it on tv every day since the attack. It must have been pretty impressive, but for us tv watchers it's like some action movie :s

oh man, that gave me chills. I was just thinking of Egypt the other day!

Heh well, there's a Moroccan restaurant out here that has belly dancers... so maybe from Morocco? (Unfortunately I don't know where that is.... ^^; )

morocco is on the north west corner of africa, and famously home to casablanca :) it's across the straight of gibraltar from, well, gibraltar at the mouth of the mediterranean to the atlantic ocean.
