Yay! I love this. I am so glad you wrote it and put it out there for us to read. (I'm making myself the official new writer cheerleader, with pompoms and everything) What are you writing next?
Thanks so much! It means a lot to me that you enjoyed it. Hopefully more Sanctuary stuff, since it's what I'm most obsessed with right now. I have a couple of ideas. But we'll see! :D
You could try Sanctuary_Bingo. I love it. You get a bingo card and write stories based on each square or a group of squares. It really makes you have to think. You can see my bingo card on my journal to see what it is like. Just veto famous people (too hard) and abnormals (really too hard). If you need any help with a story, or you just want to chat, you can add me as a friend.
Awww!!! That last line...awww!!! I don't know these characters, but I feel for them. :( You had some great turns of phrase in here -- great moments of humor ("What if you had set him on fire?"), and heart (I loved "will" replacing "can" in one of his "many revisions" -- so true to life and real! :)
You have a wonderful style -- it flowed beautifully, and I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed reading this!!! :D I hope you write much more, because you're clearly a born writer and I'm so glad you discovered your talent. :) Keep writing!!! :D
Have I told you lately how awesome you are? "Born writer"? Seriously, I'm blushing. I've always been really good at academic writing and some creative writing for school, but until now, I could never seem to manage it recreationally, no matter how much I wanted to. So, it means the world to me that you would say that. Thank you so much for reading. *hugs*
But now that your wheels are greased, I will keep my hopes up? :P
I try not to end sentences with prepositions (and it irritates me to no end when characters who patently would NOT end up doing so in fic because the author doesn't know) but I start all kinds of sentences with conjunctions.
Wheeere have you been all my life? This. This is just fantastic. And now you're never allowed to stop writing again, just fyi. /useless feedback is useless
Useless? Are you kidding?! This is my new favourite comment of all time! You're so sweet, thank you! I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it so much. Where have you been all my life? *huggles*
♥! I dooo enjoy it a lot, and you definitely have to write more. I mean, urgh, I have this really weird relationship with Helen/John because they're just too angsty for me to actively ship. I like my ships happy and flirty and somewhat angsty, but seriously, Sam/Jack is as much angst as I can take on a good day. So I obviously recognise that there was something between Helen and John and that they will probably forever be the loves of each other's lives, but. It's pretty clear to me that there's no future, and. Yeah, well. I ship Helen/Will, slash Helen/Daniel Jackson, slash Helen/Tesla, but. What you wrooote here (and I really do have a point in rambling on about this, and I'm coming to it now), what you wrote is just so perfect because it's them, but still early enough in their relationship to be utterly sweet and not destructive like they'd become later. So yes. FEELINGS. Is there mooore? Please say yes. :D
I can understand that. I LOVE THE ANGST, IT FEEDS MY SOUL. But I still totally understand. It's very draining. Seriously, you have no idea how happy it makes me that you liked it so much. I hope there's more! As soon as inspiration strikes, I will run with it. Thanks you, bb. ♥

Wait. Is it bad to end a sentence with a verb? "That's not the one I meant to kick." Well, that sounds fine. So probably not.

Verbs are fine. Prepositions are bad. I'm pretty sure I ended a sentence with a preposition somewhere in this fic. No biscuit for me.

AND NOBODY WILL CONVINCE ME NOT TO. ;P
