When people move about, they take their culture with them: Their clothes, their foods, belief systems and way of looking at the world, and their own way of making tools and buildings. Hey, I'm running around like a mad thing trying to deal with all the small plants right now. They're doing really, really well, but the weather is still so cold. Far too cold for May. But I really think that this is the shape of things to come, now climate change is taking hold.
So much for global warming, our dogwood trees are in full bloom now when they are usually blooming in March. I wonder if this IS what they really mean when they bandy around the term "global change": A series of years that vary from extremely warm to extremely cool? :\
