Thanks for an interesting post. I don't know of any other building where you can see it in the "before" state. It would be fascinating to visit again once they've made progress with the restoration.

It might be interesting to leave one room unrestored, as a sort of before-and-after display. Thanks for this look at a remarkable building.

I so agree with you about the writing on the walls. Your photos make me itch for a paint brush though! I do hope this interesting house is restored one day.
