Sheldon hadn't been Dean's only run-in at the diner earlier. He'd also overheard a conversation that some much nerdier kid was having... with himself. She had gotten all dressed up -- she didn't want to ruin the merchandise.
So she started wandering down the hallways, trying to see if there was anything actually interesting going on, and she came to a stop when Dean friggin' Winchester rolled into view. As in the Big Giant Obstacle when it would come to getting to Sam later. From what he looked like, he didn't seem like much, but she had a feeling that that could come back and bite her in the ass later ( ... )

He considered ducking down a side hall to avoid having to answer questions, but she didn't have the look of being stuck up enough to go ragging on him for being down here. Plus, she was down here in the first place.
"Headin' away from the party, you know," he remarked coolly.

His phone started beeping though, the second he took a step and he cursed under his breath as he looked down to check it.
... Great. Dad was expecting him to pick up something for a late dinner tonight, and expected to be back within the next two hours.
His time frame had just shrunk substantially. He frowned and looked up after her, calling out: "Got a name, sweetheart?"
