A year...hmmm... I suppose things like laptop, ipod etc. are obvious... i'd probably take a few books (you can get more over there, but it'll be a long plane ride) um... maybe a few framed photos? IDK IM LOOKING ROUND MY ROOM AND I WANT TO TAKE IT ALL HAHAHAHA.
oh god I would be so bad in a room mate situation. im putting off flatting for another year just because i dont want to have to live with people haha. Hopefully you get along well with them! Is it one to a bedroom or two? I could not share a room lol, Wouldnt work.
24hr walmart, yay!! Thats really convienient :D
Im sure you'll be fine bb ♥ ♥ ♥ Everyone gets nervous when they're moving countries for a year! Good luck, im sure you'll have an awesome time!
Also,do you know your address? I would muchly like to send you a Christmas card :P ♥
yes, definitely taking laptop, external HDD, ipod, iphone and ebook reader. so idk if I will actually take books because they're heavyyyy and I couldn't decide which because all my favorite books are series' and lol I can't take 6 books of this series and 4 of this.... but I will miss having books on my shelf D: pictures, I will go and print some on monday... I took a lot at my farewell parties. If I read correctly we're not allowed to put any posters on the wall... we just get one cork board thingy each... so I will pin that full of pictures of friends. And I know that I WANT TO TAKE IT ALL feeling... I have got a HUGE bookshelf... it spans the length of one of my walls and goes from floor to ceiling... and it is FULL of books and DVDs... and I will miss them all D:
When I was planning on going to college in the US I was always like "oh, living in dorms and having a roommate is part of the experience"... now idk how I will deal xD and it's 2 people in each bedroom... I have lived with a friend before... or well, she lived with me

1) I want your phone number. I will text you. A LOT. 2) I would bring my ipod, comfy shoes, a few books to read on the flight, and really just cute clothes. Everything else is just extra weight! Oh and well maybe my computer since it's an extended trip. 3) They are probably all as scared as you. You'll do fine, don't worry. 4) One of my coworkers was a Disney employee once... he was a lifeguard. He speaks very highly of his experience.
Just get your phone out and call me and we can talk about all things loin and it'll make it better. You're off on a great adventure, embrace it because you'll never do anything like this again!
1. WILL DM OR PM YOU THE NUMBER SHORTLY. YAYAYAYAY TEXTS, I LOVE TEXTING :D 2. definitely bringing ipod, i phone, laptop and external hdd... as well as my ebook reader (will have to put a few more books on tho). and a build-a-bear bear or course ^^ 3. I hope they are or they'll think I'm a freak with my gryffindor energy xD 4. I have heard a lot of good stuff... but also some things that make me worry (like a shitload of partying.... and I am not a party every day party every hour person :/)
If I had to leave for one year, I would pack a hard drive with all my pictures of my family and feel good movie, a couple of books to write in, and I would take my Hedwig toy, for comfort. Then you, know, some clothes.
I can totally understand why it would seem overwhelming, but when you'll be jumping in, actually having to go through all the motions, you will realize that it's probably not as terrifying as you thought it to be! A friend of mine just moved from one place to a vaery far very foreign othe rplace, and that's what she told me: the worst is just before when all you can do is think about it, but when you're actually doing them, it's not as hard...
